FFL Transfer Services:

1. How it Works:  You buy a gun from a distant dealer and it 
   has to be sent to a FFL in Huntsville for you. They need a copy of my license to ship.

2. You call or email me and I am happy to do that for you. I request you email me
   your name, address and phone number (for contact when it arrives).

3. I need a description of the firearm, brand, model number, caliber, etc.

4. From the distant dealer, you get HIS name, email and fax number so I can contact them.

5. I prepare a complete email reply to YOU with all the information on it, and what I am
   going to send to the distant dealer.

6. I create a prepared email with all YOUR info AND the gun you bought to go along with
    a copy of my FFL to the dealer. Some FFL's don't do this well and just fax their license.
   It gets lost or not paired with your and your purchase and there is a big hassle and delay.

7. You pay the dealer for the gun, he has ALL my shipping info, my FFL and he will send the gun.

8. A good dealer will inform you when it ships ( I always do) along with tracking information.

9. When your gun arrives, we call you, usually within fifteen minutes to let you know it's here
   and you can get it between normal business hours, 9-3:30 M-F.  You also
   get an email telling you that your gun has arrived. You will NOT have to wait at our store
   and your delivery will start immediately.  Some dealers make you wait 1-2 days for login, etc.
   However, we will keep your gun safe for you until you are able to get it if you are delayed.

10. You come to our store and fill out a ATF form 4473 which is then called in to the NICS
   instant background check. This can take just a few minutes to longer depending on the load
   on the operators at the time of the call. Once it's cleared, you pay us the $35 fee for all
   the work above, and take your new firearm home with you. The fee is PER GUN. After the
   first $35 fee, IF there was more than one gun or receiver in the package from the same shipper and 
   a single NICS check, all others in that same group are only $25.
